Takeaway: A nice alternative to wood, durable, easy and quick to assemble.

We love these beds so much that we just bought 3 more. We've been using our first Lifetime bed for 3 years now and this is its 4th season. The material is durable, sun and water resistant, and lightweight. Our annual and perennial fruits and vegetables do great in them! In the video, I demo how easy it is the assemble them. It literally took me less than 2 minutes to put one together (filling it with dirt takes a bit of time and heavy lifting though!). We also have two of the Early Start vinyl covers that came with the 2-pack bed kit (can also be purchased separately, but are pricey). To be honest, we hardly ever use the covers unless we plant early and have a late frost. For the most part, we use the cover's fiberglass rods as supports for bird netting that we throw over the strawberries while they're ripening to keep the birds and rabbit out. The capacity for each of the beds is 12 cu ft of dirt, but we've gotten away with a little bit less. Just keep in mind that the dirt will settle and erode over time so you need to top dress with some good compost each season. We haven't noticed any visible signs of wear and tear, bowing, fading or deterioration from any of our beds. We now have a total of 6, four for perennials and 2 for annuals. Since a couple folks asked, these beds are stackable. They have interlocking ridges on the bottoms, so you have to turn one upside-down and then put another one on top of it. You do, however, need to have the stacking corner brackets, which comes with the 2-pack kit and are double the length of the single corner brackets, though I'm not sure if they come in the 3-pack. The stacking brackets do not come with the single bed.
