Takeaway: A bit oversized, warm, fashion forward, interesting design and form.

The materials used in this hoodie were high quality than I expected. The outerside is a soft cotton knit like typical collegiate sweatshirt material and the inner side has a coarser textured felted fleece feel. The first thing I noticed is that there were thread ends hanging all over that I had to trim. In two spots, extra material that should have been hidden within the seam ""bled"" out and was sewn between the two panels so I had to trim that out too.

The drawstrings on the hoodie aren't knotted and don't have a pull on them, so be sure to knot them so they don't slip into the hood. On the front left side there’s a false pocket, so if you open the zipper here there’s no actual pocket underneath. The main zipper is not the best quality; it’s lightweight, stiff, and jaggedy so don't expect a quality YKK zipper. Also, the zipper pull is on the left instead of the right as is typical on American men’s clothing.

The cuffs and hems are plain and not textured and use the same sweatshirt material as the rest of the hoodie. The fit for me seems alright with a size small; I’m 5’4” and weigh 120 lbs. There’s a snap button ato connect the two front ""panels"" together, and you’ll notice that the zipper isn’t centered, rather it’s offset tot he right hand side. The hood has a built-in neck cover with two snaps to keep your neck warm, but note that there's still a slight gap between this strip of fabric and the top of the chest where the zipper ends, so it won't eschew the need for a scarf for everyone. With the hood up, I felt eh drawstrings were a bit long and in the way, so I prefer to tuck them in, you could also cut them and make it shorter. One thing I wasn't a fan of is how the hoodie hangs when the zipper is not zipped, because the chest panels are wide and floppy, it just felt sloppy unless the zipper was at least halfway up. Otherwise, it’s actually quite warm and works well as a light jacket on a breezy fall day.
