Takeaway: Loose fitting, athletic style material, silky and comfortable.

The description at Amazon says that this shirt is 100% cotton, but it’s much stretchier than cotton and had a foamy smell to it when I first removed it from the package, so there’s definitely some sort of synthetic fiber in here like lycra or spandex. The material feels a bit like active sportswear, similar to a running or biking shirt. It has buttons down the front, but they’re just for show and the seam is sewn shut. The shirt fit fairly loose out of the packaging, but after washing and drying it, it did shrink a bit and the smell went away. For reference, I’m 5’4” and weigh 120 lbs. So overall, the shirt is comfortable and soft, the fit is slightly loose but not baggy and the material is more sporty than casual.
