Takeaway: Small bookbag for day hikes/trips, rugged and vintage style.

The backpack measures 18"H x 13"W x 5"D. The bag is made of a nice heavyweight canvass, durable cotton webbing straps, brass fixtures and genuine leather accents and pulls. On the left and right sides of the bag, are two button pockets that are just large enough for water bottles. On the front of the top flap, you've got a small 6.5"W x 5.5"L zippered pocket. The main compartment feathers a flip-down cover that secured using two snap buttons. Underneath you'll find a narrow front pocket with three open card slots. Then the main compartment has a snap button closure, with a half pocket along the front and a padded half pocket along the back for a laptop or tablet. The back and bottom of the bag are padded with about a quarter inch of foam. As are the shoulder straps which are adjustable using these cotton webbing straps. the handle on the top of the bag is also made of the same cotton webbing. The bag is nicely constructed of durable and quality materials. While a small capacity backpack, it's comfortable to wear and good for day trips, or if you've only got a few items to carry with you.
