Takeaway: Soft, baggy/loose but comfortable, great loungers/PJs.

The joggers are made of a sweatpant like material, although they are quite thin. The rib-cuff waistband is 1.5" wide and is stiff but stretchy. It has a heavy cotton cord drawstring to help you keep these secured to your waist. The side pockets have a large opening but aren’t super deep. Because the material is so loose and baggy, putting heavy objects in the pockets will weigh down and stretch the pants. The one flaw I noticed on mine was that the button hole for one side of the drawstring wasn’t stitched on well, and it’s already starting to come apart. I’ll have to reinforce that to keep the hole from fraying. As expected the fit is quite loose like a baggy sweatpant. The 3/4 legs come down to just below my knee and sit at the top of my calf, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the length. Luckily there’s elastic at the bottom and you can wear these above the knee like shorts instead, so that’s what I end up doing most of the time. These shorts are probably fine for jogging, though I’m not really a runner. They are pretty comfortable for lounging around the house and wearing to bed as pajamas.
