Takeaway: Great look, decent fit, lots of buttons.

This review is for the size small. It is made of a lightweight cotton material that is slightly stiff out of the wash, so you’ll need to iron it each time you wash it. The shirt has a button-down collar and gold/yellow accent trim and thread as well as gold lining in the collar and along the placket. One interesting feature is the double buttons along the length of the placket. While a bit of a chore to do twice as many buttons as usual, the end result looks quite dashing. The faux epaulets on the shoulders are reminiscent of a military or naval style. One thing to look out for is loose threads that need to be trimmed when you first receive the shirt, particularly around the button holes as the buttons tend to get caught in them. The shirt has a nice slim fit and a good length, so if I raise my arms above my head, the shirt stays mostly tucked. Overall, the shirt is comfortable and stylish and the gold highlights really make it stand out.
