Takeaway: Good outlet expander, long cord, master switch and decent USB output options.

This review covers two versions of the power strip: 3 outlets with 3 USB ports and 6 outlets with 8 USB ports. The 3-outlet version measures 7.5”L x 1.75”W x 1”H. The power strip has a 6’ long 18 gauge insulated cable with an attached Velcro cable organizer. On the face of the unit you have the on/off switch, 3 three-prong US style outlets and 3 USB-A ports that output 1A, 1A, and 2.1 A respectively. The 6-outlet version has the same cord, 6 US three-prong outlets and 8 USB ports. Four USB ports provide 1A of power each and the other four provide 2.4A. Note, however, the combined maximum output for the USB ports is 10 Amps, which means that you won’t be able to use all 8 of them at the same time; at least not at full output capabilities. With both of these power strips, they supposedly have surge protection, but nowhere does it mention the maximum amount of Joules that they can handle before they trip, and neither have warranties covering damage to any equipment or electronics that’s plugged into them. If you use these for surge protection, you do so at your own risk. For me, both power strips worked nicely at expanding the number of available plugs and giving me the option to power and charge my mobile devices without using a separate power brick. The long cord length makes difficult to reach plugs more easily accessible. The orientation of the plugs don't make this power strip very convenient for large A/C adapters, but that is typical of many surge protectors. Overall, as power strips, they do a nice job and function well. Though as surge protectors, I'd take that claim with a grain of salt.
