Takeaway: QC3.0 works great, charges my LG G5 fully in about 75 minutes.

The cigarette lighter adapter comes with a 39” microUSB cable but it doesn’t come with a USB-C cable, which is too bad. I ended up using the included cable with a microUSB to USB-C converter. The power adapter measures 2” long with a 1.25” diameter, so it's go a pretty small footprint. It has two output ports: the top one is a USB-C port, supposedly at 3A, and the bottom is a Quick Charge 3.0 port. I use the quick charge USB port to charge my LG G5, which has QC3.0 charging capability. From a completely dead phone, the adapter can charge my phone to 100% in about 75 minutes, which is about what I expect from a QC3.0 charger. I can’t test the other port because I don’t have any devices that use that kind of cable, but the other port does what I need it to for my phone.
