With the batteries, I also received a mini LED flashlight. The batteries come packaged in a small plastic box with a snap lid. They come in a variety of colors like blue, pink, green, red, and yellow (I think this helps to keep track of which ones you've used, at least in pairs). The flashlight takes 3 AAA batteries and only has one brightness setting, but it's plenty bright for a pocket flashlight, which makes it great for a keychain, or you can stow it in your glovebox for emergencies. So far, the batteries have worked well in the gadgets that I've used them in. I typically use them in low powered LED gadgets and remote controls, so they last a long time for me. It's been about 6 months and they still work fine in that devices; I'm pretty satisfied with the performance and value.
