Takeaway: Light, durable, and comfortable work apron; can be used in the kitchen or workshop and looks quite stylish.

The apron comes in a reusable non-woven canvas bag. The apron is made of a medium-weight denim. It has an orange-brown leather neck strap, brass buttons, and leather waist tie. The brass buttons are decorative but evoke the look of a pair of jeans. There is a row of short pockets along the waist which include three wide pockets and two narrow pockets for tools with handles like a wooden spoon or rubber spatula. At the top you have a similar stitching pattern on the pocket.

The neck strap adjusts with a simple belt button hole and stud button. The leather strap at the waist tightens using a brass cinch on the left hand side, which was a bit awkward for me (I'm right-handed). If you have a narrow waist, you’ll be left with a lot of slack from the end of the leather strap. The back of the garment is smooth and finished with no flaws or rough seams and the stitching is clean, neat, and straight. The neck strap was a bit easier to adjust while wearing the apron, but it doesn't come quite high enough on my chest (I'm 5'4""). In the summer the leather neckstrap does get a bit sweaty, and the leather is not removable when you need to wash the garment so you’ll have to either handwash or at least hang dry the apron.

However, the apron is comfortable and does what I need it to do, which is keep my clothes clean when I’m cooking. It’s heavy duty and doesn’t allow liquid to seep through either is something spatters.
