Takeaway: Heavy-duty, stainless steel pastry cutter; great for baking and doughs like bread, and pizza.

This pastry cutter is made of stainless steel and measures about 6" long. There is a ruler with markers on it, but it's actually slightly off and you'll lose about 1/16th of an inch from one edge to the other. The height of the tool is about 4.75" inclusive of the plastic handle. The thick handle is nice and chunky and provides a good grip and the tool weighs about 6oz. The plastic is a thick ABS that won't crack or shatter easily and the unit is dishwasher safe. The tool is heavy duty and doesn't flex of bend under pressure making ideal for dough cutting and bench scraping.

It's sharp enough out of the box to use for baking but not enough to cut your hands. I use it when making pizza for dividing the dough and it cuts in nice straight lines. It's easy to clean and won't rust.
