Takeaway: Works great indoor/outdoor; works fine w/my power drill, circular saw, and other tools.

The extension cord I got measures 25 ft long and both the male and female ends are clear. The female side is split into 3 outlets and when you plug the cord in, there's a small light appears on one side of the splitter. Even though the male end is clear, there is no light on this end. I like that there is a light on the end to let me know if that the cord is receiving power. The cable works great inside and outside. It's also weatherproof and durable at 14 gauge. It worked fine with my power drill and mini circular saw for some outdoor building projects. It's rated to handle up 15 A and 1875 Watts so I could even use a few tools at once if I needed to.
