This kit includes 24 molds and tools, and an inflatable tray sand box. There are 5 castles, 4 scrapers/putty knives, 3 stamps, a roller, a hand pump, and 10 animal shapes. Note that this kit does not include the kinetic sand which you must purchase separately. You can use the hand pump to inflate the sand tray which takes a few minutes, but blowing it up by breath isn't too bad either. After inflation the tray measures 24"L x 18"W x 2.5"H. It has clear plastic handles on the ends and two Velcro straps on the sides for bundling up the tray (you have to let out some air). All the molds are made of a hard plastic, and with the exception of 4 of the castle pieces, all have a shiny finish to help the sand release from them more easily. Still the sand doesn't really stick to the non-shiny molds either. The animal molds and stamps can also be used with play-dough too, and these make really fun shapes for your kids to play with. The molds are durable and don't flex or crack under pressure. You can take them to the beach for use with regular sand and the tray keeps the mess contained (mostly).
