The outlet adapter measures 4.75"L x 2.75"W x1"D. It's got 2 standard 3-prong US outlets and adds 2 USB ports so you can power and charge your mobile devices. The USB ports can output 5V up to 2.1A of current combined when both are in use, or about 1 A per port. The power outlets are rated to handle up to 15 A 125 VAC at 60 Hz and have a max load of 1875 Watts, but note that there is no surge protection. This wall adapter plugs into a single outlet over your existing dual outlet plates. Since it has a lower peg here, you cannot expand two outlets to three. The other nice thing about this adapter is it has a small lip above the plug so you can use it as a stand for your phone or tablet while it is charging. The outlet works as expected and is a nice option for adding a couple USB ports where you need them without having to use an additional power adapter.
