Takeaway: Soft, warm, stylish; nicely constructed, clean stitching, not super slim on small frames.

The sweater is made of a 30/70 wool/cotton blend and has a soft slightly textured/knit feel. The sweater has an accent colored ribbed zipper color which fully hides the zipper track, which is made of plastic, although the zipper pull is made of metal. Note that the zipper pull is on the left-hand-side of the track which is the opposite side than most US mens clothing. At the waist are two shallow pockets, they are sewn shut on arrival, but have simple release threads you can remove, like on suit jacket pockets. The interior of the cardigan is lined with a warm fleece layer with a plaid pattern that extends down through each arm. The backing material on the pocket is very thin though, like suit jacket lining, so sharp items may tear it. The tag on this says it's an Asian large (L), which fits like a small (S) in the US. The stitching and fabric quality overall are very nice, though I think the fleece layer could have been even a little thicker.

I usually wear a US mens extra-small (XS) but this was the smallest size offered, however, the sweater fits as expected for a small. It's a tad bit baggier and longer than I need, but in general fairly slim, so I think if you have a larger torso the sizing would be accurate. I like to layer, so I actually don't mind it being slightly baggy for use as a removable outer layer in the winter time. It has a high collar and can be worn up like a turtle neck put down and worn flat. The pockets aren't super deep but can accommodate a large smartphone. Since this sweater has a fleece layer it's very warm when you put it on and it great in cold weather. The sweater is good at retaining body heat and effectively blocks chills in windy conditions. Overall, it's nicely constructed, warm, and stylish.
