The tools come in a zipper carry case and include the wire stripper too, crimper, and hex screwdriver. The set also includes 3 additional sets of dies for different sized connector diameters. On the wire stripper there are some extra functions in the handle like a wire cutter, insulated wire crimper, and non-insulated wire crimper.

To strip a wire, insert it horizontally between the teeth, then simply squeeze the handles together and it will strip and remove the cut insulation. The teeth on the crimper are adjustable in tension for wire from 10 to 24 gauge (thickness). Be sure not to apply too much tension as this can cause the stripper to cut too deeply damaging the wire under the insulation or even cut through it. The stripper has a strip length gauge so you can set the length of the stripped portion of wire from ¼” to 5/8” to ensure all your wires are stripped the same amount. I found this plastic piece to be a little flimsy/short but if you take your time, it suits its purpose. The cutter in the handle works well for rough cutting wire ends. The crimper in the stripper handle is a bit difficult to use since you have to squeeze really hard, so I use the dedicated crimping tool instead.

Since the dies are interchangeable, each section is marked or color coded to indicate the diameter of the connector to be crimped. The dies are easily changed using the included hex screwdriver (which is also reversible to a Phillips-head screwdriver). These crimping pliers are ratcheting and have good leverage that make crimping easy. The positive stop feature allows it to keep its grip on the connector/wire even if you let go of the handle. You'll have to squeeze until the crimp is completed before it will release. With this ratcheting crimper the crimps are quick, easy, and secure. Overall, for the whole tool set works well and is useful for different wire types and terminal sizes.
