Takeaway: Very cute, soft material, squishy/flexible batting, secures with Velcro.

These booties are great for newborns and young babies. I ordered the blue one in size 0-3M. On the front is a simple Velcro tab at the ankle and t comes with a fluff of polyester inside to keep the shape of the booties while in the package. The polyester fluff is the same stuffing material used inside the booties; the outer material is a soft, 100% cotton. The padding isn't super thick inside the booties but there seems to be enough there to keep your baby's feet and toes warm. Keep in mind these are smooth on the bottom and will be slippery so they are not designed for babies who are ready to stand or walk. They look super cute on tiny feet and would make a nice gift for a baby shower.
