This messenger bag comes with a fabric shoulder strap with leather shoulder pad that adjusts from 33" to 55" in length. The bag measures 14"H x 11"W x 5"D and is slightly narrower near the top. The bag is made of a heavy-duty waterproofed canvas with a leather accent on the side flop, leather straps, and leather handle. As a result, the bag is quite heavy, even when empty, weighing in at about 2.25 lbs. The finish on the bag is slightly distressed with scuffs and scratches meant to simulate frequent travel and wear. The fixtures on the bag are made of brass and the two buckles on the front side close via magnets.

Inside the bag, there's a small zippered pocket along the back, then a laptop sleeve with padded divider and Velcro strap, the main cavity of the bag, and finally two small open pockets in front with a pen holder in between. On the back of the bag is an additional zippered pocket. This bag can fit a lot of your essentials in it, like a laptop or tablet, cell phone, several books, and a water bottle. Because the canvas is treated with a waterproof sealer, when you get water on it, it rolls off and any water that remains due to surface tension can be easily wiped off and is not absorbed by the fabric. It'll probably be fine in a light rain but the bag isn't completely watertight and cannot be submerged. Overall, the materials used are high-quality and it feels rugged and durable. The workmanship of the bag is quite good too and the classic look goes great with most casual outfits. I find the bag works great for daily use or travel.
