Takeaway: Bright light, fun nightlight colors, cute style, versatile pen holder/phone stand.

You’ll receive the desk lamp, an instruction manual, and 4 foot long barrel style USB power cord. The lamp measures about 13 inches tall and 13 inches wide. The soft touch silicone gooseneck of the lamp is flexible and can be adjusted about 150 degrees vertically, rotated 180 degrees, and swiveled about 30 degrees side to side, allowing you to adjust and point the light where you need it. The LED panel on the light is 4.5 inches by 1 and 3/8 inches.

The base of the lamp is hefty, at about 1.7 lbs because it contains a 2000 mA rechargeable battery. This compartment here is a pen holder about 3.5 inches deep, 3 inches wide and 2.25 inches across. The logo is printed on the front and there’s a touch button of the main light and the LED night night. On the back is the DC port for the power cable, which can be plugged into any USB power source, though it did not come with a wall adapter. When plugged in, just tap the left icon to turn on the light on top. It defaults to low brightness. Just tap the button again for medium or high brightness. Tapping the right icon activates the night light in the base. It defaults to a gentle yellow glow. A second tap switches it to a rainbow of changing colors.

Subsequent taps allow you to cycle through those colors individually. The main light also has two color temperatures. You can switch between the warm temperature and cool temperature by tapping and holding the left light icon. The cool temperature is more blue and a brighter white, while the warm temperature has a yellow orangey glow. Both modes have 3 brightness levels. When you switch the light off and on again, it will remember which color temperature was used last. For the night light, you can tap and hold the icon to turn the nightlight off, but it will not remember where you left off and you will have to cycle back to your selection. Another cool feature of this lamp is that it can run off the internal battery when unplugged. Just set the switch on the bottom to 'On,' and tap the associated buttons for the light or night light features.

The notches on top of the pen holder act as a mobile phone stand so you can watch videos and view your phone hands-free, but of course you could always just put pens and pencils in there, though you might need to take them out to use as a phone stand.

Overall, this lamp functions well, is easy to use, and looks super cute on a desk. It’s bright, has fun nightlight colors, can run while plugged in or off battery power, and even has a built-in phone stand. I hope you enjoyed this review.
