We got this product to use the shower since we have some unsightly mold stains building up on the silicone sealant and grout between the tub and tiles. We’ve tried bleaching these stains, using different kinds of cleaners and scrubs, hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and vinegar and nothing has been effective.

This product is a clear gel that you simply apply to the stains while they are dry, after shaking the bottle well; just squeeze the gel from the applicator tip directly onto the stain. Be sure to wear gloves and eye protection while handling the product. After 3-5 hours, wipe the gel away with a damp sponge, and after just one treatment a lot of the black stains were gone or nearly gone. A second application took care of the spots that were missed.

When you look closely, you can see a little bit of a yellowish shadow where the mold was, but it’s really much improved. Two months after treatment, for the most part, the mold has not returned and where there is some starting to form were in spots that weren't treated the first time around. Overall, I’m happy with the performance of this mold and stain remover, and think it did a decent job on the white silicone caulk in my shower.
